For this assignment I was tasked on editing a video with clips provided. The clips provided show a bicycle race at a little kids birthday party. I started the video with a clip of a man telling us about the birthday party and race, I did this to kind of show some background information, and so when the music starts its a huge contrast. The music I chose it very dark and loud. I decided to do this because I thought it would add some drama and suspense to the video, because the video about a Childs bike race, so it would catch the viewers attention and draw them in. Overall I thought the video was pretty easy to make, however there is one thing I struggled with, and that was when around 12 seconds when the clip goes into slow motion. I had trouble making it slow down. But in general I liked this assignment and I didn't find it too difficult.

For this assignment I was tasked on making a simple video of two people telling a "Knock-Knock" joke with clips provided. I thought this assignment was pretty easy, nothing crazy. I just did some simple jump cuts, and a fade to black for the tile card. I did this to show that the video was starting. However, I did do one thing what I did was a "J cut." I did this in the tile the audio of the next clip plays before the clip cuts to it. Its really subtle, but I think it helps transition the video nicely. Overall I liked this assignment nothing crazy, just something simple.
For this assignment I was tasked on making a video with certain clips that were provided by Mr. Bourgeois. The clips I used show a man getting his things and leaving for work. The first couple of clips I used were him grabbing the items in quick succession with no fancy transitions; I did this to try and show he was doing it quickly. I think it turned out really well because all the motions are going downward until the final grab which was to the side this transitions the motion to the side like when the door opens, but overall I think this assignment was pretty straight forward and easy. Working the video clips wasn't much different than using the images, and the audio was pretty easy too.
For this assignment I was tasked on making a simple video of a story. I decided to make a video of someone walking though a early morning farm. to make this video I first chose the music. I did this o help inspire me on what my video should be like. I think the music choice worked out, and it really ties it together. Overall I think this project really help with understanding audio more than the "Intro to video." I say this because the music I just was 2 minutes, so it was way over the limit. I had to decide what part of the music to use and to fade it in. I think it turned out really well and I'm very happy with it.
For this assignment I was tasked on making a 15 second long video were 6 images change on beat to music. I thought this assignment was pretty easy. I just quickly found 6 images copy right free images and copied them into a premiere project them I copied some copy right free into it as well. Then I edited the images to change on beat with the music by using the ripple tool. I really like how my video came out. I think my favorite part is how the text fades in and out before the image changes. Overall I like premiere so far and I'm excited to use it further.
For this assignment I was tasked on sketching a character that I would then take into illustrator and make a pixel art version of it. For my character sketch I made a little man with baggy cloths and a stop sign for a head, but the in final pixel art as you can see it dosent say "stop" it say "sop." This was because if the limited size we had, so I couldn't get the whole word in. I deiced Sop looked kind of funny and decided to keep it. That was definitely the most difficult part of this assignment for me other than that I really enjoyed this assignment, and I think it turned out really well. For this assignment I was tasked on making an alternate movie poster for a film. Alternate movie poster are illustrations that encompass the key points of a movie, but the give it a new look. For my poster I chose the film "Dune." To create the poster I first sketched out ideas on a piece of paper so I could get the composition right, but through trail and error I came up with this composition. I think it composition encompass on of the movies main themes of scarcity and vastness while also being simple and clean. Another way I think makes the poster stand out, is the colors. I only used colors around orange on the color wheel, and I think helps captures the viewers attention. Another way I capture the viewers attention is with the shadow, it makes the viewers eye natural draw up to the silhouette on top of the dune.
For this assignment I was tasked on tracing some basic logos with the pen tool, and then filling them in with color. I thought this assignment was quite easy. However it did take a little while to trace all the required logos, but overall I thought this assignment was pretty good, it helped me practice the skills we learned in the bezier game. For this assignment I was tasked on making 4 icons on a story, I chose a cartoon called "Gravity Falls." I found making the icons easy, however in this assignment we where only allowed to use 2 colors+ black and white which was very difficult for me because the icons I chose where mostly only one color, so it was difficult to add both color to all the icons, but overall I enjoyed this assignment .
For this assignment I was tasked on playing a simple game to help me practice using the pen in tool in adobe illustrator. I thought the tool was relatively simple to use and I think my score reflects that. I completed all the puzzles with plenty nodes to spare. However I did have some difficulty trying to learn how the "Alt" click works with the pen tool.
